赤銅縮緬石目地に施された万年青の葉は、高彫の技法により見事な立体感と陰影を持ち、生き生きとした生命力を感じさせます。

さらに、各花の中心には天然の珊瑚が珠状に嵌入され、その深い朱色が色絵と調和し、小柄全体に華やかさと品格をもたらしています。珊瑚の使用は極めて珍しく、当時の最高級の献上品や特注品にのみ見られる仕様であり、その希少性と価値を一層高めています。

以赤石目地底，万年青叶片采用高浮雕技法雕琢而成，立体感与次分明，光影交之展出蓬勃的生命力与力。

尤目的是，花心皆嵌入天然珊瑚珠，其深邃温的朱色与色装相互映，使整件小柄更添与典雅。

珊瑚的用罕，通常于当的最高等献上品或特定制之作，因此在工格与价上皆属上乘之，其稀有性与收藏价尤突出。

— A Masterful Fusion of High Relief and Coral: The Supreme Omoto —

This exceptional kozuka has been officially designated as Hozon Tsgu (Preservation Sword Fitting) by the Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords.

Crafted on a refined shakud nanako-ishime ground, the leaves of the sacred lily (omoto) are executed in masterful high relief, creating remarkable dimensionality and depth. The interplay of light and shadow brings a vivid sense of vitality and natural elegance to the composition.

Most strikingly, each blossom is set with a natural coral bead at its center. The rich crimson hue harmonizes beautifully with the polychrome detailing, imparting both brilliance and dignity to the piece as a whole.

The use of coral in sword fittings is exceedingly rare, typically reserved for the highest-grade presentation pieces or special commissions of the period. This distinguished feature significantly enhances both the rarity and the artistic value of the work.
