This is a Fender USA American Vintage ’62 Jazz Bass (Stack Knob), manufactured in 1996, Fender’s 50th Anniversary year.with hardcase
This model faithfully recreates the original Jazz Bass specifications used only from 1960 to early 1962, featuring the stack-knob control layout (2 Volume / 2 Tone).
Within the American Vintage Series, the stack-knob version is especially sought after and has seen steadily increasing collector interest worldwide.

【Condition】
This bass is fully functional.
All electronics operate properly with no scratchy pots, no signal loss, and stable output.
The neck shows mild forward relief, consistent with natural aging of vintage-style instruments.
It does not feel like a modern low-action setup, and the playing feel has some character.
However, once accustomed, the bass plays consistently and delivers excellent tone and stability.
The truss rod has never been adjusted during my ownership, and the instrument has remained playable throughout this period.
Cosmetic condition shows honest play wear appropriate for its age, including:
A dent near the 14th fret
Strap button relocated after the original screw hole loosened
Various small dings, finish wear, and natural aging
This is not a relic or artificially aged instrument.
All wear is the result of genuine use over time.
【Ownership History】
I purchased this bass used in the late 1990s from a professional music store associated with a rehearsal studio, upon recommendation by the shop manager.
It has been carefully used and stored for many years.

フェンダー創業50周年イヤーに製造された個体で、1960〜62年初頭の仕様を再現したモデルになります。
電装系に不具合はなく、動作は安定しています。
ネックは年式相応にやや順反り傾向があり、現代的な低弦高セッティングとは異なりますが、
慣れると非常に安定したタッチと音程感で演奏できます。
私の所有期間中、トラスロッドは一度も調整しておりません。
作為的なレリックではなく、自然な経年による使用感のある個体です。
