レコード・デビュー以前の貴重な初期ライブをコンパイルした有難いアイテム。まずdisc:1には、1975年ローカル・バンドとしてパサデナでのダンスパーティでのライブを、2月と4月の2ショー収録。 当時オリジナル曲はI Wanna Be Your Lover、Take Your Whiskey Home、I Live With Foolsのみで、あとはやはりカバー曲ながら、すでにエディの卓越したプレイは驚愕もの。なお、バッジーのIn For The Kill、スプーキー・トゥースのWildfire、 ZZ トップのBrown Sugar、シュガーローフのDon't Call Us, We'll Call Youなどはこの時期だけの貴重な演奏で、さらにボーナスとして、1976年秋にスタジオ・レコーディングされた、「ジーン・シモンズ・デモ」からHouse Of Pain とRunnin' With The Devilも追加。さらにdisc2&3には、この1年後の5月9日、ノーウォークのゴールデン・ウェスト・ボールルームでのライブもSBDにて。こちらではセットに格段にオリジナル曲が増えてきており、後にアルバムに収録されるお馴染みのナンバーも。 それでもキッスのRock And Roll All Nite、エアロスミスのSweet Emotion、バッド・カンパニーのLive For The Music等が立て続けに聴けるカヴァーがメインの後半は、やはり楽しさ満載。
