Guerlain's limited edition fragrance "Shalimar Millesim Jasmine Eau de Parfum 50ml" will be on sale on ! Auctions.
The perfume is part of a limited collection of Guerlain’s iconic fragrance Shalimar, available exclusively from October 1, 2024 . "millesim jasmine" means "vintage jasmine" and was created as a homage to the jasmine grown in India, where Shalimar began . Perfumed by Guerlain perfumer Delphine Jerk, it focuses on jasmine from among the six ingredients that make up Guerlain's secret recipe, Gerlinade: bergamot, rose, jasmine, tonkabine, iris, and vanilla .
The aroma begins with a gorgeous jasmine without any prelude, joined by the freshness of bergamot [. After that, the smoky frankincense, leather and opoponax typical of shalimar mysteriously spread, and you can enjoy the rich aroma of two types of jasmine (jasmine grandiflorum and jasmine sambac) from three localities: Grasse, India and Italy . この香水は、ゲランを象徴するフレグランス「シャリマー」の限定コレクションの一つで、2024年10月1日より限定発売されます。「ミレジム ジャスミン」とは「ヴィンテージ ジャスミン」を意味し、シャリマー発祥の地であるインドで栽培されるジャスミンへのオマージュとして誕生しました。ゲランの調香師デルフィーヌ・ジャークが調香し、ゲランの秘伝レシピ「ジェルリナード」を構成する6つの香料（ベルガモット、ローズ、ジャスミン、トンカビーン、イリス、バニラ）の中でも、ジャスミンに着目した香りです。
香りは、前兆のない華やかなジャスミンから始まり、爽やかなベルガモットが香りを添えます。その後にシャリマー特有のスモーキーなフランキンセンス、レザー、オポポナックスが神秘的に広がり、グラース、インド、イタリアの3つの産地から採れた2種類のジャスミン（ジャスミン・グランディフロラムとジャスミン・サンバック）の豊かな香りをお楽しみいただけます。ラストノートでは、バニラ、ムスク、アイリスバター、トンカビンのマダガスカル産チンキが溶け合い、スモーキーなフランキンセンスとバニラのパウダリーな香りに包まれながら、ジャスミンの多面的な甘さが静かに消えていきます。
