"City Lights" is a seminal jazz album recorded in 1957 by trumpeter Lee Morgan, part of Blue Note's esteemed 1500 series. At just 19 years old, Morgan led this session, showcasing his prodigious talent alongside Benny Golson's masterful arrangements, epitomizing the hard bop genre.This Japanese pressing, reissued in 1984 by Toshiba EMI, faithfully reproduces the original monaural recording.
