Harold Budd, a pioneer of ambient music. This album, recorded in 1976, contains 4 chamber pieces composed from 1972 the year of the release of his avant type first album to 1975, and is still influential as a monumental work of ambient music. Produced by Brian Eno and released on his Obscure label. The harp, spitched percussion, piano, and saxophone create a heavenly minimal chamber music that sounds like it could only be played in a dream. "Bismillahi ´Rrahmani ´Rrahim", which features Harold Budd's own melting electric piano, is enchanting every time we listen to it. This is Japan edition in 1982 with beautiful vinyl, obi, insert and only slight wear on the back.
アンビエント・ミュージックのパイオニアHarold Budd。本作は前衛的なファーストアルバムのリリース年でもある72年から75年に作曲された4つの室内楽を収録したアンビエントの金字塔作品として今なお大きな影響力を持つ76年録音作品。Brian Enoがプロデュースを務めリリースもObscureレーベルより。ハープ、鍵盤打楽器、ピアノ、サックスによる夢の中でしか奏でられないような天上のミニマル室内楽。Harold Budd自身による溶けだすようなエレピも聴ける”Bismillahi ´Rrahmani ´Rrahim”は毎回聞く度にうっとりしてしまいます。B面の2曲も言わずもがな美しい響きに溢れています。82年の日本リリース版、盤面良好、帯付き、裏面に若干の汚れのみの良コンディション。
