Condition & Recent Work:
I previously listed this guitar, but after the initial refret, I was unhappy with some fingerboard chipout. To properly fix it, I had it refretted again, and this time the job is much cleaner. The fingerboard is now in great condition, and the 6105 Narrow Tall frets offer a smooth and precise playing experience.
To ensure ultra-smooth fret ends, I requested extra filing, which resulted in some minor tooling marks from the fret dressing. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect playability.
The guitar plays and feels like a true vintage '60s Strat. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish has aged beautifully into a dreamy green with horizontal weather checking, enhancing its vintage appeal.
The electronics are wired in a modern Stratocaster setup with a 3-way switch. If you prefer a 5-way CRL switch, I can install one for $50.
