Gin Devo is a performing artist, musician, modular synthesist and former/songwriter of the Belgian oldschool electronic cultband“Vomito Negro”. Inspired by Cabaret Voltaire and Kraftwerk Gin started to experiment in the early 80’s with tapeloops, drumboxes, mono synthesizers and effect driven vocals to create his own electronic music. In the early 90’s Gin graduated at the royal art academy in Antwerp and was student at the Royal conservatory of experimental electronic music.

“The Garden of Evil” is Gin Devo’s (Vomito Negro Mastermind) 2022 album release, available
both on CD and limited Vinyl.

The album contains 8 strong rhythmic electronic industrial sequences, drones and synth lines,
supported by Gin Devo’s dark vocals and haunted female vocal samples.

“The Garden of Evil” is an all new album, but was written and composed in line with early 1990
style electro releases. All album tracks where recorded by Gin Devo with vintage digital hard-
ware, synths and drum machines, such as PPG Wave, Roland JD800, Wave-station, Mattel
Synsonics Drums , Yamaha RY30, etc..
